No passado sábado, fizemos um pouco de sightseeing pela cidade de Dublin. Os nossos alvos, eram: ver as luzes de Natal, coisa que fazemos todos os anos, mas pela primeira vez com o Salvador; almoçar no Jo' Burger, um daqueles hamburguers impossíveis de acabar; e dar um passeio pelo parque.
Foi muito agradável viver a cidade descontraidamente, igualmente agradável foi ter-me cruzado com 3 lojas encantadoras: a Murphy Sheehy & Co., com mais de 70 anos de existência, gerida pela mesma família. Não muitos metros à frente, a Cloth Shop, aberta há um ano em Dublin, mas com uma história de sucesso em Limerick, desde 2010; e a conhecida de todos os amantes do mundo dos crafts a famosa Cath Kidston, que abrirá as suas portas muito em breve na Grafton Street.
Em Lisboa, dada a dimensão da cidade não me é tão fácil fazer este tipo de turismo dentro do mesmo quarteirão, as minhas listas são fornecidas essencialmente: na At Home Hobby, a loja mais deliciosa que conheço, (não fui eu que a encontrei, foi ela que me encontrou a mim); no Park dos Tecidos, um armazém enorme onde se pode encontrar tudo aquilo de que se necessita para a costura; e na IKEA, já bem conhecida de todos, onde a qualidade/preço andam sempre de mãos dadas.
Tenho a certeza de que encontrarão aqui matéria-prima suficiente para os vossos projectos.

Last Saturday, we did a little sightseeing in Dublin's city center. Our targets were: to see the Christmas lights, something we do every year, but the first time with Salvador; to have lunch at Jo'Burger, one of those burgers impossible to finish, and to take a walk in the park .
It was very pleasant to live the city relaxedly, equally pleasant was also, to find myself in front of 3 lovely shops: Murphy Sheehy & Co., with over 70 years of existence, runned by the same family. Not many meters ahead, the Cloth Shop , opened one year ago in Dublin, but a with successful story in Limerick since 2010; and a well known of all lovers of the crafty world, the famous Cath Kidston , which will open its doors very soon on Grafton Street.
In Lisbon, due to the size of the city, it's not so easy for me to do this kind of touristic sightseeing within the same block, my lists are therefore mainly fulfilled: in At Home Hobby the most delicious store I know, (I have't found it, I was found by it); the Park dos Tecidos, a huge warehouse where you can find everything needed for sewing; and IKEA, well known of everyone, where quality and price always go side by side.
