DIY :: Prato de bolo vintage :: Vintage cake stand

Ultimamente tenho sofrido um pouco da chamada "síndrome do objecto desejado"*... que é como quem diz, ter uma queda por um objecto e de repente passar a  vê-lo em todo o lado, como se nos andasse a perseguir - não bastava mentalmente, mas também num constantemente frente a frente...

O meu objecto de desejo era um cake stand, daqueles bem ternurentos, vintage, pois claro! Cor rosa e/ou  pastel, como os da imagem abaixo (que namoro vezes sem conta...).

I've been suffering from the "desired object syndrome*" lately... I mean, having a crush on an object and suddenly seeing it everywhere, as it's chasing me on purpose wherever I go - not enough mentally, but also on a constant face to face... 

My object of desire was a cake stand, one of those very sweet and cute. Vintage of course! Pink and/or pastel, like those on the images below (to which I blink the eye, again and again):

Foi quando me deparei com o da primeira imagem, que soube que o meu vintage cake stand seria um projecto DIY!

Material necessário: Uma tigela, um prato grande e cola-tudo super forte. 

Não é certamente o cake stand mais glamoroso, mas para mim é o mais querido de todos!!!

A sua primeira função: acolher o bolo de chocolate com que celebramos os 18 meses do Salvador.

It's been when I came across with the image number one, that I knew my vintage cake stand would be a DIY project! 

Materials used: A bowl, a large plate and all-purpose super strong glue. 

Certainly this is not the most glamorous cake stand, but to me it's the dearest of all!!!

Its first task: accommodate the chocolate cake, with which we celebrated Salvador's 18 months.

*Nome não cientifico, apenas assim chamado por nós cá em casa...
